A first meeting between Jacob (dx'd w/ NPD) and expert clinician Dr. Igor Weinberg.
Together they dig into Jacob's narcissism, from early family background to the current persistent fear of humiliation and rejection.
Themes include self-disgust, pride in callousness, dependency vs. self-reliance, exploitative patterns, paternal rejection, remaking himself into someone more desirable, controlling emotions, image management, persistent loneliness.
Includes 3 pieces: 1 consult session and 2 debriefs -- one with Jacob, one with Dr. Weinberg -- as well as a post-consult chat between Jacob and Dr. Weinberg.
